FIip Flop again

Shahid Afridi withdraws retirement from Test cricket
Shahid Afridi has withdrawn his temporary retirement from Test cricket.
According to an official of the Pakistan Cricket Board, Chairman Shaharyar Khan persuaded him to withdraw his retirement from Test cricket. A PCB press release said that Afridi will now be available for selection for both Test and One-day cricket.
Welcoming the decision, Chairman PCB stated that he had made a request to Afridi to review his decision in the national interest and had assured him that the PCB would be sensitive to the pressures that had led to his earlier decision. "Afridi agreed to respond to the PCB Chairman's call and dedicated himself to the success of the team," he added.
Afridi announced retirement from Test cricket citing workload but sources close to the player said there were other reasons to his decision.
The speculation of his resentment further took height when he flew over to Ireland to league cricket and had his family problem not occurred he would have been playing there.
All-rounder was due to meet up with the Irish team after completing his commitments with Pakistan against India in the two-match tournament in Abu Dhabi last week.
Chief coach Bob Woolmer as reports suggested tried to convince Afridi during Abu Dhabi matches against India to take back his retirement decision but the Pathan did not agree. Now when the PCB chief, an official said, made the player realise the contractual obligations he reverted his decision.

AFRIDI SUPRISES EVERY1 ............................

Shahid Afridi has ruled himself out of Pakistan's Test squad to face England this summer to concentrate on one-day cricket until after the World Cup Afridi insists it is the strain of the hectic cricketing schedule which was the sole reason behind his decision. "It's all good that we earn good money but there is just too much cricket," he said. "The international schedules are completely packed and there is hardly any time off." The all-rounder will sit out nine Test matches in all to aid his preparation for the World Cup.
